Fight Club OC Sept 24 Private Show To Make Sports History

August 25, 2020

Get ready Fight Club OC Season Seat Holders…VIP Suite Holders…and Sponsors. Fight Club OC is finally back with a whole new look, a great new twist, AND IT IS A SHOW JUST FOR YOU! Plus, you our best fans and customers, will be making Southern California sports history, as the Thursday, September 24th Fight Club OC show will be the first sporting event to be held in California with fans!! No public tickets will be sold to this event as it’s a show only for you the Season Seat Holders, Sponsors and VIP Suite Holders.

After a ZOOM call last Wednesday with Orange County Health, where Englebrecht Promotions & Events presented the necessary Covid-19 Protocols & Procedures to be allowed to stage a Fight Club OC Drive-In show, they were given approval to hold the Fight Club OC show on Thursday, September 24th and for the three remaining Fight Club OC shows. So, as they say in show business “The Show Must Go On” and it now will!

This show on Sept 24th will not be in The Hangar but in the OC Fair & Event Center parking lot, in Lot I directly off of Gate 8. That’s right…. a drive-in night of action just for you…. and from the friendly seats of your car!

“Until this COVID-19 emergency is over and Governor Newsom announces Phase 4, we have had to pivot” said Englebrecht Promotions & Events CEO Roy Englebrecht, “and that pivot will allow us to deliver you a night of incredible Pro Wrestling and Lucha Libre action! We have signed the best pro and Lucha Libre wrestlers in all of Southern California and we cannot wait to deliver you this new show concept.   You will be in for an evening you won’t forget.”

“The reason for this temporary pivot away from pro Boxing and MMA is that to adhere to the current California State Athletic Commission COVID-19 safety regulations that are required for all pro boxing and mma shows, the additional show expenses and testing costs would be at least $20,000, which is a cost that we just couldn’t absorb.”

Lucha Libre is wrestling with people flying in and out of the ring…. great acrobatically action with athletes wearing masks…. and where each bout is a good guy wrestling a bad guy, which makes for great family entertainment!

Be on the lookout in a week or so for a letter from Englebrecht Promotions & Events with all the information you need to know about the Thursday, September 24th show.
