Big Crowd Welcomes Muay Thai Action To Fight Club OC and The Hangar

December 10, 2012

If there was any doubt that Fight Club OC and The Hangar is the premier fight  venue and fight show experience in Southern California, it was put to rest on Saturday night, as a crowd of nearly 1,200 fans enjoyed 14 action packed bouts in Fight Club OC’s  launch of their new Saturday Fight Club OC Muay Thai Ultimate II & MMA concept.

With three Fight Club OC Championship belts handed out, Go-Go Dancers performing right from ringside, and with plenty of great knockdowns and knockouts, a third sport was born into the Fight Club OC family on Saturday, joining boxing and mixed martial arts in what is now the only fight promotions company in the USA promoting all three combative sports in the same venue.

“My first live Muay Thai experience was this Saturday night and I was blown away,” said Fight Club OC promoter Roy Englebrecht. “Our new muay thai matchmaker Venus Amsterdam did a great job, and I love the ceremony and color of how muay thai bouts are staged, as it plays so great in The Hangar what with our 40’ video screen and intimate setting.”

Englebrecht already has six 2013 Saturday night Fight Club OC Muay Thai II Rising Stars shows on the calendar with Opening Night set for Saturday, February 9th. For fans not wanting to miss a single minute of action, Season Seats will be sold for all six dates and fans can request a Season Seat brochure by emailing fightpromotions@gmail.com, or calling 949-760-3131.
