Fight Promoter University IX will now be a day longer and will feature two Fight Club OC shows, it was announced today by FPU founder and fight promoter Roy Englebrecht.
The one of its kind fight promotions teaching seminar, that has already seen over 150 future fight promoters attend from all over the world, will include an extra teaching day and is set for April 10 – 14, 2013 at the Hilton Orange County Airport in Irvine, California. Plus all students attending FPU IX will get to work not one, but two Fight Club OC shows, featuring boxing, mixed martial arts, and muay thai action.
“I have selected April 2013 as our next FPU session so that those people wanting to attend would have enough lead time to make proper arrangements,” said Englebrecht. “Plus, with all our 2013 Fight Club OC shows at The Hangar being doubleheaders, all students will now get to observe, experience, and work at two shows, including the hybrid pro boxing/mma Fight Club OC show on Thursday, April 11th and our Fight Club OC Rising Stars mma/muay thai show on Saturday, April 13th. I think that with adding an extra day and an extra show, that these five days and two shows will deliver the best opportunity for people attending to be ready to decide if this is the profession they want to invest and get involved in.”
The five day Fight Promoter University IX session will include 12 guest speakers, and the cost will be $1,895, which will include four nights lodging at the Hilton, all meals, 280 page FPU Manual, credential, and Fight Club OC merchandise.
