It is not often that a fight promotion can celebrate 50 shows at one location, but come Thursday, June 13th Fight Club OC will celebrate its 50th show inside The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center. And the number 50 has a special meaning as the evening will start early at 6pm with 50 cent hot dogs and 50 cent drinks served inside our all new SUMMER PARTY PATIO.
On June 13th tables and chairs will be placed around the Summer Party Patio for fans to relax, enjoy their hot dogs, have a drink, or smoke a cigar before the show begins. The Hangar doors will be open all the way to unveil not only our Cigar Lounge, but an area to get your photo taken with our Tecate Ring Card Girls and a place for fans to test drive the latest Super73 Electric Motorbikes. Even better, Super73 has agreed to give away a Super73 Z-1 to one lucky Fight Club OC fan at our Dec 5th show and all you have to do is enter to win at any Fight Club OC show.
Fight Club OC’s June 13th show will kick your summer into high gear as SOCA Fights presents this six bout card that will feature blistering boxing and MMA action from the only hybrid boxing show in the land! Tickets are available at www.socafights.com with all seats priced at $60!
Headlining this outstanding card will be Laguna Beach’s Chelsey Anderson vs. Paola Ramirez from Carlsbad! These warriors both look to make a statement in the pro-ranks as it will be pro debuts for both fighters in this 4 round, lightweight boxing match.
Lightweights Jonathan Martin 2-0 from Los Angeles battles Miguel Jacob 1-0 from Redondo Beach in a 3 round MMA collision. Both combatants are undefeated and each would love to be the first blemish on the other’s record. This bout is guaranteed to feature “do not miss” action!
Ring tactician Donte Stubbs 2-0 from Riverside looks to display his boxing skills once again vs. Earl Henry from San Diego in this 4 round Super Welterweight contest. Don’t think for a moment that either fighter wants to see the final bell. This is going to be a battle of contained fury that could literally be over at any second.
Returning to Fight Club OC is Huntington Beach’s most animated fighter, Kenny Quach as he faces North Hollywood’s Francisco Alfaro in a Super Middleweight Matchup. Both fighters looking for that first “W” on their record.
Popular Greek prospect Triantafyllos Mavidis 5-0 (5KOs) from Kavala, Greece will be in action in an 8 round super middleweight extravaganza. This Greek warrior is a beloved figure in his country, so every time he fights “Daffy” (as he is known by his countrymen and women) looks to put on a spectacular show! Yamas!
Opening the show will be the heavy-handed Stephen McKenna 1-0 (1KO) from Woodland Hills in a 4 round boxing match vs Keasen Freeman a veteran of 10 pro fights! McKenna KO’d the tough Trey Branch in his pro-debut and he’s looking to bring the power in his Fight Club OC debut at The Hangar.
For fans who were at the April 4th show and saw the two female semi-final bouts that both went the distance, the winner’s Laura Gallardo and Natalie Morgan were to fight for the Inaugural Fight Club OC Female Belt, but both fights were so tough that both fighters asked for some time off and have agreed to return for the Championship Bout on the August 22nd show.
