With a big upset win over undefeated Danny Kelly at Pechanga Casino on August 22nd, Lancaster’s Avery Gibson wants to ruin the return of top heavyweight prospect Alexander Flores when they meet in the featured bout of Roy Englebrecht Promotions Fight Club OC show on Thursday, October 16th in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA. Flores who won his first 14 pro bouts until he was stopped by 18-0 Charles Martin back in April will be tested by Gibson who’s 4-4 record is deceiving, as he is 4-2 in his last six bouts and the record of his opponents in his last four bouts is 27-1. But Team Flores has secured the services of top trainer Henry Ramirez to work with Team Flores manager Michael Love, and they feel that the proper adjustments are being made to right the ship and get Flores back in the heavyweight chase.

The six bout card will also feature the Fight Club OC debut of 2-0 Jamie Robinson one of the top amateurs out of Scotland, and top prospect Rafael Espinoza who is 4-0 with 3 KOs and is managed by top boxing manager Frank Espinoza. Fight Club OC has sold out their last two shows.
