Record Crowd Sees Big Wins On Fight Club OC Show

Costa Mesa, CA; A top prospect had a great pro debut and four other fighters remained undefeated Thursday night, as a record crowd of 1,511 took in all the action at Roy Englebrecht Promotions Fight Club OC show in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA.

Las Vegas’s Timothy Lee who had a stellar amateur career started his pro career in impressive fashion scoring three knockdowns in the first round against 1-2 Chad McKinney leading to the TKO win

Four other fighters had nice wins to stay undefeated, with the large crowd seeing Malcolm McAllister run is record to 4-0 all by knock out, as he stopped Lanny Dardar in the first round. McAllister’s right was just too much and a perfect overhand right sent Dardar to the canvas for the KO win. Also scoring wins were Mark Anthony Hernandez going to 6-0 with a UD win over game Gabe Lopez; Kevin Watts moving to 8-0 with a UD win over 4-1 Farkhad Sharipov; and LA’s Thomas Hill going to 4-0 with a tough win over Detroit’s 3-6 Rick Graham.

The fight of the night that had fans on their feet over all four rounds saw 1-0 Reece Bennett and 1-0 Henry Calles battle to a majority draw that saw grateful fans throw over $300 into the ring in appreciation. Calles looked the worst for the wear has Bennett had him in trouble in the second and fourth rounds, but Calles keep on coming back.
