Biggest MMA Fight In OC History

July 9, 2013

On Thursday, August 15th on the Fight Club OC show in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center, the biggest, literally, the biggest mixed martial arts fight in Orange County history will take place! All fans in attendance will see two giant MMA fighters in action when Fullerton’s 6’8″ Jack May put his perfect 4-0 record on the line against San Diego’s 6’5″ Keishaun Hill who is 1-0. What these two “big guys” also bring to the Fight Club OC show almost unblemished records, both as amateurs and as pros. May is a former Glory and K-1 fighter and was 3-1 as an amateur, while Hill was a perfect 9-0 as an amateur with all wins coming by knockout. This means that on August 15th one of these fighters will taste defeat for the first time….so get ready for a war!

The August 15th card might be as good as any fight card in the country, as it features it unique hybrid show, with four pro boxing bouts and three pro mma bouts. The other featured mma bout will highlight top prospect out of Fullerton in 2-0 Curtis Millender, as he will be in tough against Bakersfield’s 4-1 JC LLamas, in what might be a fight of the year in the making. The other mma bout will feature the pro debut of Jose Huerta, who is trained by top boxing guru Mondo Huerta, and will face Anaheim’s 1-0 Mauricio Diaz.

The boxing portion of the show will be highlighted by an IFBA World Lightweight Championship fight between Rhonda Luna vs Crystal Morales. This is now a rematch for a championship belt, after Luna won a close unanimous decision on the June 6th show. And Anaheim prospect 1-0 Dwain Victorian will look to go to 2-0 vs Ricardo Cubias out of Riverside.
