Recap April 4 Fight Club OC Show

April 5, 2019

What more can be said….. sold out crowd, first round knockouts, money thrown into the ring for great efforts, a championship belt awarded.

Just another night at a Fight Club OC show, where it is “the most fun you can have in Orange County on a Thursday night”.

Now being called “The Biggest Little Show In America” a crowd of 1,214 saw a war between Amanda Jones and Natalie Morgan in the semi-finals of the inaugural Fight Club OC Female MMA Flyweight Championships. Fans threw over $150 into the ring in a bout that saw Natalie Morgan take a close decision and advance to the Championship on June 13 Fight Club OC show.

In the other semi-final Lisa Mauldin just couldn’t figure out a very aggressive Laura Gallardo who stayed on top of Mauldin all night and won a UD.

So it will be Gallardo vs Natalie Morgan on June 13 for the Championship belt.

In the Main Event and for the first ever Fight Club OC MMA Welterweight Championship it was La Habra’s Jacob Rosales making quick work of Quinton McCottrell winning with a rear naked choke in one minute of round one.

Other good boxing action saw Donte Stubbs taking a four round UD over Kenny Qauch…. Newport Beach’s Craig Wilkerson wins his pro debut taking a UD over a game Cory Hall, and Nikoloz Sekhniasvila knocking out Estevan Payan in the first round.

Santa Ana’s Joey Dorado didn’t disappoint a big crowd of fans with a first round MMA stoppage of Trevor Wells in a bantamweight bout.

The next Fight Club OC show is Thursday, June 13, all tickets available online or by calling (949) 760-3131 .
