Seven Boxing & MMA & Muay Thai Bouts Set for Fight Club OC Oct 3rd

Costa Mesa, CA. – Never one to rest on their past successes, and even with a three show sellout streak on the line, Fight Club OC is never shy about innovation, so a week from tonight So Cal fight fans will be treated to a combative sports tripleheader as promoter Roy Englebrecht brings a nine bout card to The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center.

 

In a first for California, fans will be treated to a fight menu that contains… four  boxing bouts…three mixed martial arts bouts…and in the newest addition…two muay thai bouts!! The Thursday, October 3rd show will certainly be one of the most exciting shows of the year for combat sports fans, so make plans today to be there.

 

The boxing part of the show will see some top young boxers look to stay undefeated and some looking for a win in their pro debut. Both 4-0 John Hays and 2-0 Dwain Victorian look to stay perfect, with Hays meeting Phoenix’s Moises Alvizo and Anaheim’s Victorian facing Juan Zuniga. In a bout with real OC interest, 2013 UCI graduate and 2012 So Cal Blue & Gold winner Daniel Kim makes his pro debut vs Long Beach debuter Devonte Donaldson. And it will be two big heavyweights in their pro debuts, when Chino Hill’s Justin Davenport meets Oceanside’s Matt McKinney.

 

Mixed Martial Arts will see some of Orange County’s top young MMA fighters with Irvine’s Steven Stryker vs Huntington Beach’s Kory Kelly in our featured bout. Also highlighted will be another all OC fight with Andre Walker facing Paul Gemmati, and in debuts for both, it will be Fabian Gonzalez vs Isaac Velasco.

 

Muay Thai will make its Fight Club OC debut on October 3rd and it will be Team Oyama that will be in the spotlight, as Colin Oyama’s Irvine gym will see their 3-2 Lisa Mauldin facing 3-0 Theresa Crowley out of Total MMA, and Team Oyama’s 3-0 Chris Mauldin vs 3-0 Edwin Avila out of Seeu Maao Muay Thai.
