COSTA MESA – The final Fight Club OC event of 2015 featured a little bit of everything.

The seven-fight, hyrbid card staged in front of 1,432 Thursday in the Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center featured a pair of undefeated brothers, a one-punch knockout, a boxer from Kazakhstan, and a heavyweight whose nickname is “Bada Bing.”

The most competitive bout of the night was an eight-round welterweight match between undefeated Kevin Watts of Lancaster and Manuel Lopez of Denver, Colo.

Watts and Lopez stood toe to toe and threw punches for most of the fight, with each fighter taking the other’s best punches.

It seemed too close to call, but judges scored it as a unanimous decision for Watts, who improved his record to 10-0. Lopez dropped to 9-2.

But Tevin Watts, Kevin’s brother, didn’t fare as well.

Like his brother, Tevin was undefeated going into his welterweight fight against Kareem Martin of Washington, D.C., who was also unbeaten.

In a six-rounder that was not nearly as exciting as Watts-Lopez, Martin came away with the victory by unanimous decision and upped his record to 7-0-1. Tevin stepped out of the ring with a 4-1-3 mark.

The lone MMA fight of the card, and the only fight featuring an Orange County fighter, didn’t last long.

Trevor Clapper of Fullerton was knocked out just 29 seconds into his 185-pound match against Eddie Hyman of Murrieta.

Hyman (3-2), who was making his Fight Club OC debut, landed a punch that put Clapper (1-2) on his backside against the ropes and then kept punching before the referee jumped in and put a stop to it.

In a six-round fight between two hard-punching super lightweights from Tijuana, Adan Mares and Pedro Lopez fought to a draw.

The best punch of the night was a straight right delivered by Stephen Shaw of St. Louis to the chin of Dan Biddle of Hockessin, Del.

The blow sent Biddle, whose nickname is “Bada Bing,” to the canvas, ending the fight at 1:45 of the first round, with Shaw (6-0) remaining undefeated.

In a four-round super lightweight fight, Ruslan Madiyev of Karaganda, Kazakhstan (7-0) stayed unbeaten with a unanimous decision over Thomas Herrera (4-15-1) of Hollywood.

In a battle of super lightweights, Evinci Dixon of Lancaster improved to 7-2 with a majority four-round decision over Luis Bello of Los Angeles.
