COSTA MESA The raucous crowd in the sold-out Hangar couldn’t help a pair of Huntington Beach MMA fighters against their L.A. County opponents at the latest staging of Fight Club OC on Thursday in front of 1,434.

The hybrid card featured four boxing matches and two MMA bouts.In a 136-pound match, Mario Navarro of Huntington Beach suffered his first loss when he was knocked out 58 seconds into the second round by Kana Hyatt of Torrance.Navarro (3-1) suffered a cut over his right eye and survived some vicious punches early in the first round.In the second, Hyatt (9-10) pinned his opponent against the ropes and delivered a steady stream of hard rights and lefts that sent Navarro to the canvass for good.

The other Huntington Beach fighter, John Mercurio, lost a unanimous decision in a 170-pound match against Dave Terrel of Los Angeles. Mercurio (4-4) was on the defensive for most of the three-round bout and nearly fell out of the ring at one point.

In boxing, Santa Ana native Sammy Gonzalez (160) stayed undefeated.He scored a stoppage victory against Reseda’s David Tabatadze at 1:16 of the sixth and final round.Gonzalez (8-0) hurt Tabatadze (9-2-1) with body shots in the final seconds of the fifth.Gonzalez again slowed Tabatadze with body blows early in the sixth.

La Habra’s Ricardo Garcia upped his record to 3-2 with a stoppage of Ricardo Cubias in a 129-pound fight.

Oscar Diaz of Oxnard won his pro debut with a split decision over Osman Rivera of Highland Park in a 131-pound boxing match.

John Worthy (1-1) of Ontario emerged with a unanimous decision over Hollywood’s Steven Ma (0-2) in a 160-pound fight.
